Is the EPFL Master Excellence Fellowship fully funded?
No. The fellowship pays CHF 10,000 per semester, for up to four semesters, but EPFL says students remain responsible for tuition fees and living expenses such as rent. External candidates may reserve a student-room place, but the room is not described as free accommodation.
What is the EPFL fellowship deadline for 2027?
The external applicant deadline is 15 December 2026. The Master’s application must be paid and validated by that date for fellowship consideration. Reference letters are submitted separately and are due one week after the application deadline, on the exact date stated in the validation confirmation.
