Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must be citizens of an eligible country, normally have lived in their home country for two years, meet age/work-experience rules and commit to contributing to their country's development after study.
Pakistan is not included in the current Manaaki Asian-country list, so Pakistani citizens cannot apply through the regular tertiary scholarship route.
Eligible countries
Current eligible Asia countries include Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Viet Nam, plus eligible Pacific countries.
Language requirements
Shortlisted candidates may need IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or equivalent; initial application does not always require a test score.
