Young public-sector officials from central banks, finance/economy ministries and related agencies who will return to policy work after graduation.
What does this scholarship actually cover?
A fully funded IMF-administered Japanese scholarship for young government officials from selected Asia-Pacific economies studying economics/public policy in Japan.

Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must be citizens of an eligible country, be employed by and formally nominated by a central bank, finance/economy/planning ministry or related government agency, hold a qualifying bachelor's degree and have strong English.
Pakistan is not on the current JISPA Master's Track nationality list. Formal government nomination is mandatory for eligible applicants.

The current Master's Track is limited to the Asia-Pacific countries listed by JISPA in its 2027/28 guidelines.
Language requirements
Current guideline generally expects TOEFL iBT around 79–80 or IELTS 6.0, subject to exemptions.
